This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs the cancellation of memberships, refunds, caution deposits, subscription fees, and related financial matters for all Services provided by Grandha Vahak.

By subscribing to any Grandha Vahak membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
Members may request cancellation of their membership only after the completion of 100 (One Hundred) calendar days from the Membership Activation Date.
Cancellation requests submitted before the expiry of the 100-day period shall not be accepted unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly approved by Grandha Vahak.
Membership cancellation becomes effective only after Grandha Vahak confirms that all applicable membership obligations have been fulfilled.
The Membership Subscription Fee is charged for access to the Grandha Vahak Services and associated membership benefits.
Once a membership has been activated, the Subscription Fee is non-refundable, whether or not the Member actively uses the Platform, except where a refund is required under applicable law or expressly approved by Grandha Vahak.
Certain Membership Plans require the payment of a refundable Caution Deposit, which serves as a security deposit against outstanding obligations arising from the use of the Grandha Vahak Services.
The Caution Deposit is independent of the Member's usage of the Platform and is not affected by the number of books borrowed, reading activity, or participation in any program.
Upon successful cancellation of a Membership, Grandha Vahak will calculate the remaining refundable balance of the Caution Deposit after verifying the Member's account.
Before processing any refund, Grandha Vahak will verify that:
Where applicable, Grandha Vahak reserves the right to deduct from the Caution Deposit any outstanding amounts, including but not limited to:
The remaining balance, if any, shall be refunded in accordance with this Policy.
Subject to successful verification and completion of the Membership cancellation process, the remaining refundable balance of the Caution Deposit, after adjustment of any applicable deductions, will normally be processed within seven (7) Business Days from the date the cancellation is approved.
Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the Member's bank, payment method, or financial institution.

✅ ₹1,500 deposit → ₹250 overdue fine → Refund ₹1,250
✅ ₹1,500 deposit → ₹900 lost book charge → Refund ₹600
✅ ₹1,500 deposit → ₹1,500 outstanding charges → No refund
✅ ₹1,500 deposit → ₹2,000 outstanding charges → No refund, and the Member remains liable for the additional ₹500
